Introduction

At Aditya Avartan Technologies Pvt Ltd, we are committed to maintaining high ethical standards in our business operations and expect the same from our suppliers. This Supplier Code of Conduct ("Code") outlines the principles and standards of behaviour that we require our suppliers and vendor partners to adhere to in their business dealings with us and on our behalf.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations in the countries where they operate. For the purposes of jurisdictional authority, Aditya Avartan will refer to the Courts of India, located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Ethical Business Practices

- Integrity and Fair Competition: Suppliers must conduct their business in an ethical manner and act with integrity. They must compete fairly and comply with antitrust and competition laws.

- Anti-Corruption: Suppliers must not engage in any form of bribery, corruption, extortion, or embezzlement. They must not offer or accept any form of improper payment or benefit to gain an unfair advantage.

- Conflict of Interest: A conflict of interest may exist when a Supplier is involved in an activity or has a personal (direct or indirect, by himself or through any relative) interest that in the opinion of the Company interferes with the Supplier’s objectivity in performing work related duties and responsibilities or supplying products or services to the Company.Suppliers are expected to provide truthful, accurate and complete information about certain facts, transactions and relationships that may have a bearing on issues related to conflicts of interest. 

Labor and Human Rights

- Voluntary Employment: Suppliers must ensure that all employment is voluntary. Forced, bonded, or indentured labour is not acceptable.

- Child Labor: Suppliers must not employ children under the minimum age for employment as defined by local laws or International Labour Organization (ILO) standards, whichever is higher.

- Non-Discrimination: Suppliers must provide a workplace free from discrimination based on race, colour, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion, political affiliation, union membership, or marital status.

- Wages and Benefits: Suppliers must pay workers at least the minimum wage required by law and provide all legally mandated benefits.

- Working Hours: Suppliers must comply with local laws on working hours and overtime. Workers should not be required to work more than the maximum hours of daily labour set by local laws.

- Freedom of Association: Suppliers must respect the rights of workers to freely associate and to bargain collectively.

Health and Safety

- Safe Working Environment: Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment for their employees. This includes appropriate safety training and protective equipment.

- Emergency Preparedness: Suppliers must have emergency plans and response procedures in place for potential incidents such as fires, chemical spills, and natural disasters.

Environmental Responsibility

- Environmental Compliance: Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

- Sustainability Practices: Suppliers are encouraged to minimize their environmental impact and implement practices that promote sustainability. This includes responsible waste management, energy use, and reducing carbon emissions. 

Management Systems

- Documentation and Records: Suppliers must maintain accurate and complete records to demonstrate compliance with this Code and applicable laws.

- Monitoring and Enforcement: Suppliers must have systems in place to monitor and enforce compliance with this Code. This includes regular audits and assessments.

- Training: Suppliers must provide appropriate training to their employees to ensure they understand and comply with this Code.

Reporting and Accountability

- Whistleblower Protection: Suppliers must provide a mechanism for their employees to report concerns or violations of this Code without fear of retaliation.

- Corrective Action: If a supplier is found to be in violation of this Code, they must take timely and appropriate corrective action. 

Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By becoming a supplier to Aditya Avartan Technologies Pvt Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Supplier Code of Conduct. Failure to adhere to this Code may result in the termination of your relationship with Aditya Avartan Technologies Pvt Ltd.
